We are looking for an individual who is eager to join our psychology department to enhance and support the psychological services for our patients at Cygnet Storthfield House. The Assistant Psychologist/Trainee Forensic Psychologist will assist the psychologist in:
- Supporting psychological assessments and treatments by scoring psychometric tests and developing formulations under supervision
- Assisting in data collection and risk analysis
- Contributing to risk assessments, including STARTs and HCR-20s
- Aiding in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of group programs and individual therapy sessions
- Engaging in administration, audit, research, and service development
- Contributing to the development and delivery of training programs
- Participating in clinical supervision
Ideal Candidate Profile...
- A BPS accredited BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology (2:1 or above)
- A BPS accredited MSc degree in Psychology (preferred)
- Experience in healthcare and/or as an Assistant Psychologist
- A passion for learning and working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
