Your Role

As a Residential Childcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the lives of our young people. You will work collaboratively with a team to provide emotional and social support, encouraging positive development and meaningful relationships. Your responsibilities include:

  • Creating a safe and nurturing environment where young people can thrive.
  • Providing emotional and social support, fostering healthy connections with peers and adults.
  • Encouraging self-esteem and ensuring each young person feels respected and valued.
  • Supporting young people in making positive life choices and achieving independence.
  • Maintaining accurate records of progress, observations, and care plans.
  • Collaborating with managers, social workers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assisting with daily living needs and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
