Store Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Stores Person to join our team. As a Stores Person, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate tracking, ordering, and stocking of materials, as well as leading and supervising a small team to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe stores environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure accurate tracking, ordering, and stocking of materials
- Lead and supervise a small team to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe stores environment
- Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels and resolve any supply issues
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, orders, and deliveries
- Safely operate a Forklift Truck to move and store materials
- Excellent ability to create and maintain order within the stores
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and the internal team
- Proven experience within stores or inventory management
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a small team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials
- Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Competitive hourly rate of pay up to £14PH for the right candidate
- Temporary to permanent position
- Early finish on Fridays
- Free onsite parking
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:15
- Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
