As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with complex learning disabilities, severe social communication, and behavioral challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support to young people outside of school hours and cover classroom duties during breaks.
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, shopping, money handling, and participation in on and off-site activities.
- Promote the young person's independence and overall well-being.
- Contribute to exciting holiday trips and activities.
- Empathy, enthusiasm, compassion, mental, physical, and emotional resilience.
- Minimum of 6 months experience working with children or within a similar Social Care setting.
- Flexibility to undertake sleep-in duties.
- Driver's license and access to own car is a must due to the rural location.
- Temporary or temp-to-perm contract options.
- Ad hoc shifts available.
