We are seeking an Infrastructure Adoption Coordinator to become a part of our Technical Team within our South West Division.

The engineering segment of our regional Technical teams is tasked with establishing all necessary infrastructure that connects new developments, ensuring that essential elements are in place for a thriving community. This includes everything from roadways to drainage systems and all utilities expected in a modern, functional residence. The Infrastructure Adoption Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the processes related to the adoption of roads, drainage, and public open spaces, while maintaining strict oversight of all associated bonds and costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess current bond liabilities and identify opportunities for reduction or elimination.
  • Oversee the overall bond liability, pinpointing key milestones for potential reductions. Ensure clarity on timelines and that all necessary inspections and certifications are obtained.
  • Collaborate with the Construction Department to ensure timely issuance of maintenance certificates for roads and drainage prior to the completion of new sites.
  • Ensure that all Health & Safety Method Statements and Risk Assessments are approved before commencing maintenance activities on completed sites.
  • Maintain an updated regional adoption schedule and report on completed estates, ensuring the Business Unit remains within its bond limits.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with a recognized housing developer or a Highway/Drainage Authority.
  • Expertise in the design, construction, and inspection of estate roads and drainage systems.
  • Experience in preparing work schedules, bills of quantities, and conducting tender analyses for such projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines.
