Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Chester Mail Centre. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in our premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions
- Empty bins, dust surfaces, and sanitize high-touch areas
- Work independently, with minimal supervision, to complete tasks efficiently
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations
About You
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. If you are a motivated and reliable individual who takes pride in their work, we encourage you to apply.
What We Offer
As a Cleaning Operative with Royal Mail Group, you will enjoy a competitive hourly rate, 22.5 days annual leave (rising to 25 after 5 years' service), plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, and a Defined Contribution pension scheme.
