About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our corporate real estate and property portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the site, including offices, corridors, and communal areas.
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
- Empty bins, dust surfaces, and sanitize high-touch areas to prevent the spread of illness.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure seamless delivery of cleaning services.
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, with good written and verbal communication skills. Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential. You will be able to work on your own initiative, organizing your own time, as you will be managed remotely.
