About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our mail centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
- Empty bins, dust surfaces, and sanitise high-touch areas.
- Work independently, with minimal supervision, and manage your own time effectively.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers, providing excellent customer service.
About You
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. You will be required to operate a variety of cleaning equipment and work in a fast-paced environment.
