Cleaning Operative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Operative to join our team at Eric Wright Group. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our educational premises.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough cleaning and sanitizing of designated areas, including toilets and shower facilities.
- Operate powered equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and polishers, to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
- Move furniture and equipment as required to ensure efficient cleaning and maintenance.
- Assist in the event of accidents, fires, or other incidents, and complete necessary reports.
- Attend meetings and training sessions as requested to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Perform other reasonable tasks as required to support the company's goals and objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a facilities management or cleaning services environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Health and Safety training and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- A satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
As a member of our team, you will benefit from:
- A competitive hourly rate of £10.90.
- A part-time contract with 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3pm - 5.30pm, term time only, with deep cleaning duties during school holidays.
