The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Business Development Director to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide strategic leadership and oversee Income Generation, Public Affairs, Partnerships, and Communications to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies that align with our goals, ensuring transparent governance and robust reporting mechanisms.
  • Lead the income generation, public affairs, partnerships, and communications teams to achieve ambitious growth targets for statutory contracts, grants, and unrestricted income.
  • Foster service user involvement across all areas of work, ensuring compliance with Safeguarding, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, and Health and Safety legislation.
  • Oversee a team of twelve and work closely with the Chief Executive, Executive Team, and Board of Trustees to drive business growth and enhance our reputation.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working at a senior level in a similar role, with a proven track record in income generation.
  • Leadership and management experience at this level, with a strong ability to develop and implement business development strategies.
