About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sovereign Risk Analyst to join our team at Our Graduates. As a key member of our Emerging Markets team, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis of emerging market risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis of emerging market risk, including economic fundamentals, political factors, and credit risk.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of sovereign risk and its impact on investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with the broader EM team to inform investment views and generate investment ideas.
  • Engage with external research providers, stakeholders, and policy makers to stay up-to-date on market trends and developments.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of macroeconomics and its application to emerging markets.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in a research/analysis role, with a strong background in emerging markets.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as international economics or finance.
  • Strong Excel and coding skills, with knowledge of econometrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to form independent views and provide high-quality research and analysis.
