Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and analysis of emerging market economies, including macroeconomic and credit factors.
  • Assess the creditworthiness of sovereign entities, considering factors such as country risk, currency risk, and market conditions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of emerging market economies, including their history, politics, and economic trends.
  • Collaborate with the fixed income team to provide investment recommendations and market insights.
  • Engage with external research providers, stakeholders, and policymakers to inform views and perform country due diligence as appropriate.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in EM sovereign credit focused analysis.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or other financial disciplines.
  • Advanced Excel and Bloomberg skills, and ability to process large data sets.
  • Experience in conducting research and making investment recommendations across the sovereign credit rating spectrum.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
