Role Summary:

We are in search of a proactive Operations Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our operational success as we expand.

In this role, you will assist in the daily management of our operations, reporting to our Senior Operations Manager, ensuring that our workflows are efficient and effective, which is essential for our growth.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and project management skills, capable of juggling multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment. Experience in operations, particularly within the food or consumer goods sector, along with a passion for healthy living, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

  • Manage the daily functions of the organization, including inventory oversight, logistics, and distribution.
  • Formulate and execute operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Track and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational goals are achieved.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Generate purchase orders and liaise with suppliers and freight partners to guarantee timely delivery of premium raw materials.
  • Streamline supply chain processes to minimize costs and enhance reliability.
  • Maintain and distribute inventory reports across the organization.
  • Coordinate deliveries to our storage facilities.
  • Physically assist in the movement of stock between locations and events.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure all products adhere to the company's quality benchmarks and comply with industry standards.
  • Establish and manage quality assurance processes throughout the production cycle.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and inspections to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

Process Optimization:

  • Identify potential areas for process improvements and cost-saving strategies.
  • Implement methodologies to refine operations.
  • Lead and oversee projects aimed at operational advancements.

Customer Relations:

  • Handle direct-to-consumer and trade customer inquiries to ensure satisfaction and resolve any operational challenges.
  • Analyze customer feedback to guide operational decisions and enhancements.
  • Assist in the packing and shipping of orders to customers and retailers.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Stay informed about industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Implement safety measures to maintain a secure working environment for all staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in operations management, ideally within the food or FMCG sector.
  • Strong grasp of supply chain management and logistics.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Proficient in operations management software and tools.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
