Lead the Way in Geography Education

Castleford Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Second in Geography. As a key member of our Geography department, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Head of Geography in leading the department and deputise in their absence.
  2. Contribute to raising standards of pupil attainment and achievement within the department.
  3. Develop and implement a broad, balanced, and relevant curriculum for Geography students.
  4. Monitor and support pupil progress, providing guidance and support as needed.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to promote Geography as a subject and inspire students.
  6. Embed the Academy's ethos and values in all aspects of departmental work.
