Spinner Medical Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatrist to join our team in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and advice to patients, carers, and families in inpatient, community, and outreach settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-class care and advice to patients, carers, and families in inpatient, community, and outreach settings.
- Offer consultant advice to colleagues internally and in other specialties.
- Develop and implement strategies across the service, ensuring clinical governance is at the highest standards.
- Lead and participate in quality improvement, audit, teaching, and other initiatives.
- Advocate for professional development, ensuring your CPD is up to date and encouraging colleagues to do the same.
Requirements
- FRANZCP or specialist training completed in Ireland, UK, USA, Sri Lanka (with Australian or NZ international placement), Canada, or South Africa.
- Completed a formal post in child and adolescent psychiatry, of at least 6 months, if trained in countries listed above.
- Experience in delivering specialist care in multicultural environments.
- Applicants with experience in rural and remote mental health care provision will be highly regarded.
