Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Management Leader to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our primary care team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to patients within the prison setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Ensure the effective operation of primary care services within the prison, including the management of staff, resources, and budgets.
  • Clinical Leadership: Provide clinical leadership and guidance to primary care staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality care.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that primary care services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Security and Risk Management: Ensure that the healthcare facility and surrounding areas are secure and that risks are managed effectively.
  • Prisoner Care: Provide specialist healthcare services to prisoners, including the management of chronic diseases and long-term conditions.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop the primary care team, including staff employed by different provider organizations or working through contract management arrangements.
Requirements
  • Experience: Significant professional experience in primary care, including experience working at Band 7 Nurse level.
  • Qualifications: Management qualifications and evidence of continuous professional development, such as practice teaching or mentoring.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of chronic disease and long-term condition management, as well as the principles of quality management.
