Digital Projects Coordinator

Cheshire East Council is seeking a skilled individual to coordinate and support digital inclusion activities for Connecting Cheshire Partnership. The successful candidate will work closely with partner organisations and third-party suppliers to provide assistance and intelligence on digital inclusion and the organisations operating in the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate digital inclusion initiatives and activities with partner organisations and third-party suppliers.
- Provide assistance and intelligence on digital inclusion and the organisations operating in the region.
- Support the development of a community-focused project to enable residents to access and gain knowledge on how to use digital devices and online platforms.
- Act as a single point of contact with local authority partners to discuss and collaborate on digital inclusion initiatives, needs, opportunities, and issues.
- Knowledge of digital exclusion issues is advantageous, but not essential.
- Ability to develop relationships with external individuals and organisations involved in addressing digital inclusion.
- Active participation in local and regional groups, meetings, and events.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the development of digital inclusion initiatives in the region. The role is fixed-term, but there is potential for a longer-term role if the position delivers positive outcomes and demonstrates value in coordinating and communicating between stakeholders.
