As a Sales Engineer on our Data team, you will play a crucial role in bringing our innovative solution to customers and empowering them to collect and retain their most critical asset - data.

The Data team is tasked with delivering a world-class data platform that enables SentinelOne and our customers to achieve unrivaled cost, performance, and scalability. With the exponential growth in data volumes, users, and types, we need a modern architecture that addresses the new data requirements for enterprise organizations. You will be part of a unique opportunity to operate in an emerging 'startup' like environment within SentinelOne, building and scaling our data business beyond security use cases.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing a sophisticated sales process from prospecting to closure
  • Partnering with our channel team to drive both net-new and recurring revenue
  • Collaborating with channel managers to build pipeline and grow the assigned territory
  • Staying up-to-date with SentinelOne's competitive landscape and selling the value of our solutions and services
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas
What Skills and Knowledge Do You Need?
  • Proficiency in English and strong communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions (Sales) Engineer or Architect
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent technical experience
  • Strong background in big data platforms, data lakes, streaming analytics, and log management
  • Some code writing proficiency and experience with RegEx and writing parsers
  • Background in cloud providers and technologies such as Kubernetes
  • Ability to demonstrate product value and use cases
  • Experience in objection handling and positioning against competitive or alternative technologies
