About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trainee Estimator/Project Coordinator to join our team. As a Trainee Estimator/Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the project management team in organizing the estimating of material costs and managing tasks on project plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the execution of project plans, including reading scope of works and interpreting procurement schedules.
  • Support the project team in organizing estimating of material costs and purchasing and delivering construction materials and labor.
  • Manage tasks on project plans, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Develop strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
Requirements
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive can-do attitude and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and ability to learn specialist software for interpreting and performing take-offs of estimates from drawings.
  • Formal training and education in construction or experience within a construction company or similar business.
  • Excellent listening and analytical skills, with ability to communicate professionally at a high level with senior staff.

  • Competitive salary, ranging from £17,665 for candidates aged up to 20 to £23,498 for candidates aged over 21.
  • Pension scheme and 23 days per year plus bank holidays.

Location

The head office is located in a rural area, and you will need to have your own transport.
