Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Stafforce Recruitment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and a proven track record of ensuring plant downtime meets targets. You will be responsible for maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workplace, managing and improving plant and facilities, and maintaining engineering stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure plant and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
  2. Ensure plant downtime meets targets.
  3. Maintain safety and cleanliness in the workplace.
  4. Manage and improve plant and facilities, ensuring all works comply with SHE guidelines.
  5. Maintain engineering stores including stock and inventory levels.
  6. Demonstrate continuous improvement.
  7. Report and record all works using CMM systems.
  8. Build and maintain working relationships with customer departments within the business.
  9. Assist with engineering solutions and cost-effective repairs.
  10. Support the production and maintenance team to ensure that the plant exceeds its targets for performance, quality, and safety.
Requirements:
  1. Time served apprenticeship, preferably multi-skilled.
  2. Qualified NVQ level 3 minimum.
  3. Previous experience in a similar role.
  4. Good SHE awareness.
  5. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  6. Good fault-finding skills.
  7. Experience with TPM and PPM systems.
  8. Good IT skills.
  9. Able to work as part of a team.
