Job Summary:
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Churchfield Avenue, a residential home in Sawston, Cambridge. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care and support to residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy environment, adhering to health and safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in a residential home.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- DBS clearance and references.
