Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Estate Services Operations Supervisor to oversee our estate management in East London. This role offers an hourly wage starting from £19.05PH for a full-time commitment of 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will thrive in a supportive work environment and play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the estate.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining a high-quality service for residents, ensuring courteous and efficient interactions. This position involves a blend of management duties and operational cleaning responsibilities, with management tasks accounting for approximately 40% of the workload.

Management Duties:
- Provide leadership and daily management for a team of Estate Services Operatives, ensuring flexibility and effectiveness in meeting resident needs.
- Oversee the work of the team to maintain all estate areas, including caretaking, refuse removal, and minor repairs.
- Responsible for the completion and review of operational records, including timesheets and performance evaluations.
- Conduct individual and group meetings to ensure work standards are met and address any conduct or performance issues.

Operational Responsibilities:
- Perform cleaning duties across all communal areas, adhering to established schedules and methods. This includes:
- Sweeping and washing communal staircases, foyers, and other shared spaces.
- Cleaning lift interiors, estate signage, and communal furniture.
- Removing litter and other debris from estate grounds, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Execute deep cleaning tasks as necessary and manage refuse container maintenance to prevent overflow.

Monitoring and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure high standards of service delivery as set by the Estate Services Manager.
- Track repairs from initiation to resolution and monitor partner performance, taking action as needed.
- Maintain accurate records for all equipment and vehicles used within the department.

Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with colleagues across the organization to facilitate smooth estate operations, particularly with Housing Managers.
- Assist the Estate Services Manager with complex service or personnel issues and represent them in their absence.

General Duties:
- Perform additional tasks as required by management, adhering to company policies and standards.
- Work a 7-hour shift on a rotating schedule, including one weekend every four weeks, with compensatory time off provided.
