Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Estate Services Operations Supervisor to oversee the efficient management of our estates in East London. This role offers an hourly rate starting from £19.05PH for a 35-hour work week, along with a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of estate services, which includes:

  1. Team Leadership:
    Provide daily guidance and support to a team of Estate Services Operatives, ensuring their flexibility and effectiveness in meeting the needs of residents and other stakeholders.
  2. Operational Oversight:
    Manage the activities of Estate Services Operatives to maintain cleanliness and order across all estate areas, including caretaking, refuse removal, and minor repairs.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    Ensure a consistent and high-quality service is delivered to residents, addressing any performance issues in line with established policies.

Cleaning Duties:
Perform thorough cleaning of communal areas as per agreed schedules, including:

  • Cleaning staircases, foyers, balconies, and other shared spaces.
  • Maintaining lift interiors and communal furniture.
  • Removing litter and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Maintenance and Reporting:
Assist in minor repairs and maintenance tasks, report issues to the Repairs Team, and monitor completion to ensure standards are met.

Weather Preparedness:
Implement measures during adverse weather conditions to maintain safe access to properties.

Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments and colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination of estate services.

General Duties:
Perform additional responsibilities as required by management, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.

Work Schedule:
This position requires working a 7-hour day on a rotating schedule, including one weekend every four weeks, with time off in lieu for hours worked.
