About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Design Engineer II to join our team at SharkNinja. As a key member of our design office, you will be responsible for driving the development of innovative products across our Ninja Beverage range.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute design studies to solve technical or consumer issues in product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver credible solutions to the market.
  • Evaluate and improve designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturing improvements, increased quality, and value to consumers.
  • Apply sound engineering standards to deliver real solutions.
  • Build on understanding and experience of high-volume manufacturing processes and materials to optimize designs.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues.
  • Support other team members and encourage their efforts.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with our U.S. and China-based Product Design Engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level technical qualification in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical, or Industrial Design Engineering.
  • Typically, 2+ years of proven experience in Mechanical/Product Design/Industrial Design environment.
  • Experience in the consumer goods household appliance space is desirable.
  • Experience in plastic manufacturing processes is desirable.
  • Experience of delivering real-world products to market.
  • Experience of high-volume manufacturing is desirable.
  • Proficient in Solidworks or Creo.
  • Identify, solve, implement, and verify technical solutions autonomously as part of a team.
  • Flexible and collaborative, with a positive attitude and inquisitive nature.
