Care and Support Assistant Job Overview

Belmont Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team in Leeds and Bradford. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to Children and Young People between the ages of 10 and 16 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a safe and healthy living environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • A passion for working with Children and Young People
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and sleepovers
