ERP Software Support Consultant Job Description

Proactive Solutions Group Ltd is seeking an experienced ERP Software Support Consultant to join our team. As an ERP Software Support Consultant, you will provide technical support and consultancy services to our European customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Technical Support: Respond to customer support requests in a courteous and prompt manner.
  • Assist with Software Installations: Configure software on various supported platforms, including Windows and Linux.
  • Document Customer Solutions: Record customer solutions for internal reference and customer benefit.
  • Manage Business Intelligence Projects: Design, plan, build, test, document, and deploy Business Intelligence and reporting projects for customers.
  • Prepare Training Materials: Develop training materials and quick reference guides to support customers.
  • Provide Pre-Sales Support: Assist sales representatives with technical demonstrations and product information.
  • Attend Trade Events: Represent the company at trade organization events to promote products and services.
Requirements:
  • Effective Communication Skills: Interact professionally with clients and staff, and work productively in teams.
  • Technical Knowledge: Have knowledge of current supported hardware and software platforms, relational databases, and data dictionary concepts.
  • ERP Experience: Have experience with ERP software, systems, and solutions.
  • Business Intelligence Experience: Develop reports using a Business Intelligence tool or reporting using a programming language.
  • Background in Software Development: Have a background in software development and a relevant computer science degree.
Working Arrangements:

The ERP Software Support Consultant will be based in the Hoddesdon offices for the first month, but the role can be hybrid or remote after that. The salary is £50-55k + benefits.
