We are currently seeking a proficient General Builder to become a vital part of our Property Team. This role involves a considerable amount of travel, for which we provide a company van and fuel card to facilitate your daily responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Builder, you will be responsible for a range of general construction repairs and maintenance tasks for our properties as part of the Responsive Repairs Team.

  • Drainage work, pipe repairs, and soakaway installations
  • Roofing tasks, roof repairs, and gutter maintenance
  • Re-pointing, rendering, tiling, and cementing
  • Installation and repair of various types of fencing
  • Self-leveling compound application, flooring installation, and tile work
  • Brickwork and blockwork repairs

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess at least an NVQ level 2 in a Building trade or equivalent practical experience. Experience working in both occupied and vacant properties is essential, alongside strong customer service abilities. A solid commitment to health and safety practices and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team are crucial.
