Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Planning Specialist to join our team at Skilled Careers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing a complete construction planning service across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes from first principles, including method statements for bid submissions.
- Provide a contract planning service, including contract programme development, target programmes, close-out programmes, and procurement schedules.
- Monitor project progress, attend progress meetings, and issue progress reports as required.
- Promote the company at pre-qualification, tender, and contract interviews, presentations, and meetings.
- Undertake independent project progress reporting, including analysis and feedback to project teams and senior management.
- Review subcontractor programmes and assess requirements for scaffold, hoist, and crane schedules.
- Compile comparative programmes for substantiation of claims or disputes.
- Work collaboratively with tendering and project teams.
Requirements:
- Experience in construction planning on various projects, including new build, refurbishment, and fit-out.
- Ability to manage multiple project programmes simultaneously.
- Proficiency in ASTA Planning software, with training available for transfer from other planning software.
- Awareness of individual health and safety responsibilities and adherence to company health and safety policy and procedures.
