We are seeking a dedicated professional to become a key member of our pharmacy education and training division. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the creation, implementation, and administration of educational initiatives aimed at pharmacy support personnel, pre-registration trainee pharmacy technicians, and post-registration pharmacy technicians.

The successful candidate will work closely with a variety of partners, including NHS Education Scotland, further education institutions, and training providers, to enhance programs such as the National Technical Apprenticeship Training Scheme and the Vocational Training Foundation Pharmacy Technician Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of pharmacy professionals.
  • Provide mentorship and support to trainees throughout their educational journey.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in the pharmacy sector.

Applicants should possess relevant experience in primary care, hospital, or community pharmacy environments and hold registration with the GPhC. An assessor qualification recognized by SQA is also essential.

This role is ideal for a pharmacy technician who is passionate about nurturing learners and celebrating their achievements.

Working hours for this position are 22.3 hours per week.
