About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tax Transformation Manager to join our team in Canada Square, London. As a key member of our Global Compliance and Transformation team, you will be responsible for delivering tax transformation and technology projects for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project manage the overall delivery of global and large tax transformation and technology projects, often as part of a wider finance transformation program.
  • Help clients design, build and deploy ERP and tax automation solutions which are designed for Tax.
  • Support our clients understand the importance of Tax, the optimal way to address tax requirements in their countries and the value that it can bring.
  • Work together with our other Tax Transformation colleagues as well as other groups in KPMG such as Consulting.
  • Help clients develop robust global governance and process frameworks.
  • Develop our service offerings and service delivery models.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships with both existing and new clients.
  • Line manage assistant managers and graduate trainees and oversee the output of offshore resource in order to deliver client projects.
  • Identify opportunities to identify additional services that the client may need and liaise with subject specialists.
  • Coach and technical support for other team members.
  • Follow KPMG best practice and policy.
Requirements
  • A strong understanding of tax transformation and technology, including ERP finance and tax experience.
  • Experience in process, risk and controls design.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Takes personal responsibility and accountability for own work.
  • Analyses problems, identifies core issues, investigates, evaluates and integrates information.
  • Builds the reputation of KPMG through the quality of work, knowledge and experience.
  • Awareness or experience of tax and accounting compliance processes (Direct/Indirect tax returns, statutory accounting).
