About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join our team in Canada Square, London, with a strong background in tax transformation, technology, and governance. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of tax transformation and technology projects, often as part of a wider finance transformation program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the overall delivery of tax transformation and technology projects, often as part of a wider finance transformation program.
  • Help clients design, build, and deploy automation solutions that are tailored to their tax needs.
  • Support clients in designing systems that address tax requirements in different countries in the most optimal way.
  • Collaborate with Tax Transformation and GCT colleagues, as well as other teams in KPMG, such as Consulting.
  • Help clients develop robust global governance and control frameworks.
  • Develop our service offerings and service delivery models.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Performance manage managers and assistant managers and oversee the output from offshore resources to deliver client projects.
  • Identify opportunities to provide additional services that clients may need and liaise with subject specialists.
  • Coach and provide technical support to other team members.
  • Follow KPMG best practice and policy.
Requirements
  • A strong background in tax transformation, technology, and governance.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing significant size engagements and client relationships.
  • Ability to drive results and manage risk.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Takes personal responsibility and accountability for own work.
  • Analyses problems, identifies core issues, investigates, evaluates, and integrates information.
  • Awareness or experience of tax and accounting compliance processes (Direct/Indirect tax returns, statutory accounting).
