We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Deputy Team Leader to join our Perioperative Team at Theatres Central. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the Team Leader in the management of the clinical area.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide advanced specialist practice in the perioperative pathway, undertaking planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for patients.
- Deputise for the Team Leader as required, ensuring continuity of care and management of the clinical area.
- Empower and enable the perioperative team to deliver high-quality care, providing expert advice and support as needed.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
- Advanced specialist practice in perioperative care, with a strong focus on patient safety and quality improvement.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to speak Welsh is desirable, but not essential.
