Job Description:
We are working with a Public Sector organisation in Cambridgeshire to recruit a Procurement Manager on a permanent basis. This role offers a hybrid working policy, with 2 days in office and 3 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on the development of the organisation's procurement strategy
- Lead on drafting tender documentation, managing supplier contracts and organising evaluation meetings
- Deliver on a number of high value/high risk tender activities
- Provide specialist knowledge in the application of all service contracts within the Estates team
- Ensure that all procurement and contract management activity is undertaken in accordance with agreed corporate procurement processes
- Engage with stakeholders and project managers to understand requirements
Requirements:
- 5 years experience within Construction (essential)
- Understanding of procurement processes
- Ability to develop OJEU and under threshold tenders
