Contract Manager

Certain Advantage is seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing, negotiating, and managing contracts for goods and services, ensuring best value for money.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with public sector procurement regulations.
- Provide expert procurement advice to project managers, guiding them through complex solutions and option appraisals.
- Manage tender processes, ensuring compliance with EU procurement regulations and the Trust's Standing Financial Instructions (SFIs).
- Organize and lead supplier negotiations, striving for the best outcomes on contracts and service level agreements.
- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with public sector procurement regulations, Trust policies, and national standards.
- Network with key suppliers, clinical teams, and external stakeholders to identify collaborative opportunities and foster a culture of innovation.
- Extensive experience in contract management, procurement, and negotiation, particularly in a public sector or healthcare setting.
- In-depth understanding of public procurement regulations, including the organization's procurement frameworks and EU legislation.
- Financial and business acumen, with a deep understanding of financial principles, business planning, and value-for-money assessments.
