About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist in Old Age Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the provision of a comprehensive old age psychiatry service to the community mental health team.
  • Continuing clinical responsibility for patients in your care, delegating tasks and training staff as necessary.
  • Diagnose and treat patients within the sector and at other locations as required.
  • Liaise with primary care, social services, and other sectors to facilitate patient care.
Requirements
  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practice.
  • Approved clinician status and S12.
  • Excellent knowledge in old age psychiatry.
