Job Summary

We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide support to our teaching staff during maternity leave. As a HLTA, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering learning to individual pupils, small groups, and classes as required. You will also be expected to build and maintain successful relationships with pupils, treat them consistently, with respect and consideration, and be concerned for their development as learners.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a school setting, teaching individuals, small groups, and whole classes. You will also be educated to QTS or HLTA status and have experience in delivering phonics at all levels and supporting children with early reading and maths. You will be able to work independently and in a group, build successful working relationships, be adaptable, and empathetic with those facing barriers to their learning.
