Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our teaching staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Job Role
  • Deliver high-quality learning activities to students, adapting to their needs and responses.
  • Plan and implement challenging teaching and learning objectives, evaluating and adjusting lessons as necessary.
  • Promote independence and employ strategies to recognize and reward self-reliance.
  • Work within an established discipline policy to anticipate and manage behavior constructively, promoting self-control and independence.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans and Personal Care programs.
Requirements
  • GCSE English and Maths Grade A-C (or Functional Skills Level 2 equivalent).
  • HLTA status (or QTS).
  • Understanding of National Curriculum, EYFS Guidance, and other relevant codes of practice.
  • Effective use of ICT to support teaching and learning.
  • Ability to establish professional, effective working relationships with colleagues, students, and parents.
