Job Title: Activities Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Murdostoun Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Wishaw.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising and implementing a social, recreational, and leisure activity programme in partnership with our existing Activities Co-ordinators. This will involve individual and group activities within the unit and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver a range of activities to promote social interaction, independence, and overall wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and community groups to access resources and opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the activity programme, making recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a similar role or in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
