We are currently undergoing a significant technology transformation program, investing £25 million over four years to enhance our online customer experience and leverage data-driven insights. This presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled Data Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics team.

The Role: Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and implementing robust data applications. You will collaborate closely with product owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into impactful technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and implement data applications using cutting-edge technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Power BI, Qlikview, and SSRS.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of a new Data platform capability as part of our broader re-platforming initiative.
  • Work within an Agile environment, collaborating with engineers, testers, and business professionals.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong data visualization skills using Power BI and other visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL and other database technologies.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Azure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
