We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Children and Family Worker to join our team. As a Specialist Children and Family Worker, you will be working closely with families to build strong relationships and provide support to children and families with complex needs.
About the Role:The Specialist Children and Family Worker will be responsible for:
- Working closely with families to build strong relationships and provide support to children and families with complex needs.
- Promoting positive change with families and providing practical and specialist advice.
- Managing caseloads and providing lead coordination for other support services.
- Managing safeguarding risks to children and taking the lead on an area of professional practice for the team.
- Operating flexibly to meet the needs of families, including working out of normal office hours.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant practical experience of working with children and families with multiple and complex needs.
- Effective communication skills with a range of children, families, and professionals.
- Ability to keep records on our computer-based system and complete assessments and other key documents in a way that is accessible to children and families.
