As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will work closely with Registered Nurses to provide exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will encompass pre- and post-operative support for a diverse range of patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their hospital journey.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assistance to the nursing team in delivering high-quality patient care.
- Offer dedicated support and monitoring to patients, contributing to their recovery and overall satisfaction.
- Maintain clear communication with the healthcare team by promptly reporting any significant changes in a patient's condition.
- Adhere to established hospital protocols for patient movement and safety.
- Proven experience as an HCA / CSW within a clinical setting is essential.
- Possession of an NVQ Level 3 qualification is mandatory.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Experience in performing ECGs, blood work, and patient observations demonstrates your technical proficiency.
