Quality Assurance Role

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining effective relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

Key Duties:

  • Quality System Management: Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Part 145, Part M, Part 21, and ISO standards.
  • Supplier Management: Manage the quality activities of suppliers, including audits, certifications, and surveillance to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Quality Assurance Program Planning: Coordinate quality assurance program plans, monitor and modify audit schedules, and quality engineering requirements to ensure program effectiveness and integrity.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Provide liaison support regarding supplier or facility performance to established requirements and coordinate documentation support for regulatory authorities compliance.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Investigations and Technical Assistance: Conduct product, system, or process failure investigations and provide technical assistance in resolution of quality problems.
  • Corrective Action Implementation: Verify required corrective action implementation for timeliness and effectiveness.
  • Trend Analysis: Perform trend analysis of audit results to identify quality system deficiencies.
  • Collaboration: Work with other departments as needed to meet quality compliance of processes.

Requirements:

  • Quality Experience: Previous quality experience relative to or complying with regulatory standards.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understands and is able to apply and communicate to others: blueprints/specifications; Federal Aviation Regulations; Quality Management Control System Requirements; knowledge of manufacturing/fabrication techniques and processes.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer literate; capable of working within the various software applications utilized throughout the corporation.
  • Lead Auditor: Lead Auditor as Quality Engineer or Quality Auditor preferred.
  • EASA Part 66 License: EASA Part 66 license preferred.
