Quality Assurance Lead

Quality Assurance Lead is sought to join a reputable manufacturing organization.
The Quality Assurance Lead will oversee a dedicated team of Quality Inspectors and Quality Engineers, while also ensuring the effective operation of the ISO9001 Quality Management System (QMS).

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a quality team consisting of 4 direct reports, including Quality Inspectors and Quality Engineers.
- Identify and understand customer requirements to establish efficient quality control measures.
- Collect and analyze in-process and final inspection data, implementing necessary corrective actions.
- Organize and conduct internal audits for both QMS and Environmental Management System (EMS).
- Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to oversee the supplier approval process.
- Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance.
- Maintain all documentation related to QMS and EMS.
- Track and report on established quality and environmental objectives and targets.
- Ensure comprehensive QHSE information is provided as required.
- Oversee the customer satisfaction measurement process.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Engage with suppliers and customers as necessary.
- Coordinate with various engineering departments.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in a quality management position, such as Quality Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, or similar roles.
- Certified Internal Auditor for ISO9001:2015.
- Engineering qualifications are preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, metalworking, fabrications, welding, machining, sheet metal, aerospace, or defense sectors is advantageous.
- Must be able to commute as required.
