Financial Treasury Lead – Nottingham

In the role of Financial Treasury Lead, you will oversee a dedicated team responsible for executing treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity analysis, payment processing, funding strategies, and investment oversight.

Your role will also involve streamlining processes within the team to enhance efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess: strong leadership capabilities, analytical proficiency, problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 4 associates managing all treasury operations in the UK.
  • Own and maintain the UK Treasury control framework, ensuring impeccable execution of tasks.
  • Oversee funding and investment strategies for the organization, including managing overnight deposit decisions with banking partners.
  • Challenge existing processes and identify opportunities for improvements and automation.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including UK Finance teams, the US Treasury team, and external partners such as financial institutions and regulators.
  • Analyze payment and cash flow trends to identify potential risks and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with US counterparts on long-term treasury strategies to ensure alignment at the enterprise level.

What We Are Looking For:
Qualified ACCA/ACA or ACT
Experience in Treasury or similar operational roles
Proven leadership experience in managing performance and talent
A strong focus on risk management
Ability to identify and implement solutions to both immediate and long-term challenges.
