We prioritize excellent care and services for clients and children, ensuring the successful growth of the company. To maintain this pace, we seek an experienced Chef Manager to join our team.

The Role

As the Chef Manager, you will oversee the operational and financial aspects of our school catering facility. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality food and service while showcasing your flair and originality. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing the kitchen team, fostering a culture of motivation and excellence
  • Managing stock, food, and labor costs to ensure efficiency and profitability
  • Ensuring consistency in food and service standards for students and staff
  • Driving sales through promotions and added-value events
  • Managing and improving controllable costs
  • Overseeing menu development and implementation
  • Maintaining company systems, procedures, and legislation
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure standards are met
About You

We seek an individual who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service. Key requirements include:

  • OND or HND qualification (advantageous but not essential)
  • Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Financial understanding of gross profit management and sales targets
  • Line management experience
  • Experience in a similar environment
