Exclusive Hotels and Venues is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, managing stock control and procedures, and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Manage stock levels, inventory, and supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Develop and implement menu planning, food preparation, and presentation strategies to enhance the dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative and seasonal menus that meet the needs of our guests.
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, farmers, and other stakeholders to source high-quality ingredients and materials.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations, health and safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
