Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Manage stock levels, inventory, and supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Develop and implement menu planning, food preparation, and presentation strategies to enhance the dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create innovative and seasonal menus that showcase our culinary expertise.
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and quality control procedures.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other kitchen expenses to achieve budget targets.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of kitchen staff.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of food preparation, presentation, and service standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
