Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for professionals looking to advance their careers through diverse and challenging projects. You will be instrumental in transforming electrical designs into actionable projects, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with client specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in value engineering for projects, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing proactive cost management strategies.
  • Support procurement timelines, ensuring alignment with value-centric milestones to optimize cash flow.
  • Evaluate potential risks associated with projects and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Assess change requests and their implications on project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities, including progress reports and adherence to timelines.
  • Facilitate collaboration among designers, maintenance teams, and clients to ensure strong engagement.
  • Provide regular updates on project milestones to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate efforts among multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers and contractors.

Required Experience and Skills:
  • Broad knowledge base acquired through diverse career experiences.
  • Extensive background in electrical engineering with proven success in project execution and commissioning.
  • Operational and maintenance engineering experience with a focus on plant improvements.
  • Ability to analyze machinery operations and identify process enhancements.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in interpreting 3D models and design schematics.
  • Hands-on experience in commissioning electrical installations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Project.
  • Experience across multiple engineering disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation.
  • Familiarity with material handling and heavy industrial machinery is advantageous.
