Job Summary:

Armstrong Knight is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to lead our financial operations and drive growth. As a key member of our senior management team, you will be responsible for managing financial systems, controls, and compliance, as well as overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and models to drive business growth and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Systems and Processes: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems, including accounting software, and ensure efficient and effective financial processes.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Financial Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including cash flow, liquidity, and credit risks, to ensure the company's financial stability and security.

Requirements:

  • Financial Expertise: Proven experience in financial management, including financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Leadership and Management: Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of finance professionals.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software, including accounting systems, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
