As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of aviation technology. You will be responsible for leading and managing mechanical design projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs that meet stringent performance and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage mechanical design projects, overseeing all phases from initial concept development to final product implementation.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, effectively allocating resources and managing timelines to ensure on-time delivery of exceptional designs.
  • Mentor and guide a team of mechanical design engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct thorough feasibility studies, simulations, and analyses to validate design concepts and identify potential challenges early in the development process.
  • Create comprehensive technical drawings, specifications, and documentation using advanced CAD software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Oversee the prototyping, testing, and iteration processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine designs and ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
  • Facilitate design reviews, providing strategic input on design enhancements and incorporating feedback from stakeholders to optimize solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in avionics and mechanical design, integrating best practices into the team's workflow and promoting continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in mechanical design, with a proven track record of leading successful projects from concept to completion.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and a deep understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes relevant to avionics.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
